The mission of the Syracuse University Infrastructure Institute is:
To facilitate efficient, effective, and socially responsible infrastructure development and rehabilitation, globally and domestically, through educational programs, research, and commentary – integrating the many disciplines that have historically been siloed.
To support and supplement university colleges, departments and faculty with an infrastructure focus; extend the academic depth; facilitate research and related funding; fill in gaps in academic offerings and generate media engagement.
To serve as a forum that integrates the diverse capabilities and offerings of university colleges, departments and faculty with an infrastructure focus through a supportive and collaborative institute.
